No names. No profiles. Just messages.
No account required. Your Shadow identity is temporary.
Listening…
Shadow Chat is not 100% anonymous. It provides temporary identities and does not require an account, but technical information may be processed for security, rate limiting and abuse prevention. Do not share passwords, private keys, personal information, or other sensitive data. Messages may be automatically removed according to the selected vanish time.
Privacy
Shadow Chat does not require an account, email or wallet connection.
Your displayed Shadow identity is temporary.
Do not share personal information.
Technical information such as network/server metadata may still exist depending on how the service is hosted.
Vanished messages disappear from the chat immediately and are deleted from the database by an automatic cleanup within minutes. Copies may still exist in infrastructure backups or logs controlled by hosting providers.
For rate limiting and abuse prevention, a keyed, daily-rotating code derived from network and browser information is kept for up to 1 hour (reports: up to 72 hours). Raw IP addresses are not stored.
